'Ubadah ibn Samit Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates: I heard Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying: He who asks forgiveness for Mu'min men and Mu'min women, Allah writes for him a virtue for every Mu'min man and Mu'min woman. (Tabarani Majma-'uz-Zawaid).

Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrated that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: The Muadhdhin will recieve forgivness to the distance to which his voice reaches. All living and non-living things shall bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection. He, who attends Salat in congregation, for him is written the reward of twenty five Salat, and it becomes an atonement for his sins between two Salat (Abu Dawud)
Note: According to some Scholars the reward of twenty-five Salat is for the Muadhdhin, and he gets forgiveness of his sins from the previous Adhan to this Adhan. (Badhl-ul-Majhud)

Ibn 'Umar Radiyallahu 'anhuma narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: The Muadhdhin will receive forgiveness to the extent the voice of his Adhan reaches; every living and non-living thing that hears his voice, supplicates for his forgiveness. In another narration it is stated: Every living and non-living thing replies to his Adhan. (Musnad Ahmad, Tabarani, Bazzar, Majma'uz-Zawaid)

Abu Sa'sa'ah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Abu Sa'id Radiyallahu 'anhu said: When you are in a desert or countryside, then call the Adhan loudly, as I have heard Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying: No tree or clod of earth, or rock, or Jinn, or man shall hear his voice; except that they will bear witness for him on the Day of Resurrection. (Ibn Khuzaimah)

Hazrat Shaikh abu Turaab Bakh'shi (RA) says: "whenever a person distracts someone who remains busy with Allah's work and worship; Allah's anger soon catches up with him -the distracter."

May Allah save us from His anger and punishment. This is something very important. Many people do not understand the worth of being in Allah's service, busy with His worship etc. hence at all times and places they call upon them, thereby calling them away from their duties in Allah's service. One should especially be careful about this when dealing with saintly people.

Rasulullah Sallailaho alaihe wasallam has stated that Allah·Ta'ala demands: "O son of Adam, devote yourself to my worship I shall make you feel contented and remove your poverty. But if you do not do so, I shall keep you busy with worldly engagements and will not remove your poverty."

There are many more Ahadith on the same subject. Imraan bin Husain Radhiallaho anho reported Rasulullah Sallallaho alaihe wasallam as saying; "He who reserves his devotion to Allah alone, making himself subservient to Him alone, Allah Ta'ala Himself fulfils all his needs and provides for him from such sources as he could never imagine; and he who makes the worldly gains his sole concern, Allah Ta'ala leaves him alone to deal with the world."

Anas Radhiallaho anho narrates that Rasulullah Sallallaho alaihe wasallam once said "A person whose sole concern is for worldly interests, undertakes journeys for the same and remains preoccupied with it all the time,Allah Ta'ala always makes him fear the impending poverty and hunger. (He remains in constant worry, thinking his income to be too small to make both his ends meet.)
